STORY
Annette was born one cool November afternoon with Nicolas and Sabrina Emery in the delivery room and their two other children waiting patiently outside for their new baby sister. The youngest Emery baby was born with a 14 and 15 year gap with her siblings, which obviously meant that her birth wasn't exactly planned. But despite of this fact, the family grew up close to each other and her parents were just happy that there was another addition to their lives.

Saying that Annette's family wasn't well off would be telling a pretty obvious lie. But her family's financial status hadn't always been like that. There was a time when their family was buried in debt. They had even sold some of their prized possessions and her brother and sister had to apply for academic scholarships to finish their education. It wasn't until the early 90's, while Annette was starting kindergarten, did Nicolas strike oil in one of their lands. They became richer than they ever imagined. They paid off all their obligations and indulged themselves in all the pleasures they were restricted of before. It's no wonder why Annette ended up spoiled and a little materialistic. Her parents began buying her so many things. Toys. Dresses. On her 8th birthday, her parents gave her this golden ball about half the size of her fist. She had no idea what to do with it at the time, but she treasured it. She even keeps that ball with her to this day.

Though thriftiness was implanted in her brothers and sisters, it was never a trait of Annette's. She can spend hundreds of dollars at a time without even noticing it. She's impulsive when it comes to certain things. When she turned fifteen, her parents enrolled her in Grimm high school, a school which had a good reputation for being prestigious, not to mention one of the most expensive. Here she was surrounded by the rich and the elite. Annette was meant to believe in first impressions and that appearances do matter. A bad thing since she ends up judging people at first glance.

To be frank, without her parents' money, Annette doubts that she would've gotten into the school. She isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. She has a short attention span when it comes to her studies. She doesn't put it at the top of her priorities. She thinks that she should be doing something more worthwhile instead; it’s why she's always looking for excitement. That desire coupled with her lack of thinking things through before doing something leads her into situations she would rather not be caught up in.

Academics is definitely not her strongest point but on the other hand she excels in sports. Specifically in softball. She's a member of her school's softball varsity team. On a stressful day, she can usually be seen in the field, resting against a tree, tossing around her golden ball.
