STORY
Peter was sent to Grimm High School upon entering the 9th grade. His adoptive parents, Jack and Millie had set enough aside in their account for their son’s tuition. They wanted him to experience a fine education and thought that Grimm was the top choice among their best options.
Peter was placed into ‘the system’ as a baby. He hadn’t known his biological parents at all, and as the years passed he had stopped asking questions. He inferred that they were now deceased, according to the testimony of various foster parents and the boys’ home employees.
The place he came to know as home was St. James boys care facility, just on the outskirts of London. There he had lived with a total of sixteen boys and two sets of house parents. He felt fortunate; most people only had one set of parents when he in fact had gotten two. The days were simple at the facility and he was schooled in a small room in the back of the building by one of the house mothers- Helen.
He had been placed in a total of four foster homes, all of which had their ups and downs, before settling in the fourth with the Pannings. Jack was a co-ceo of a hotshot company in London and Millie was a stay at home wife and mother, like most of the wives and mothers on that particular street. It was the first family that Peter had been introduced to that had money, and not just money, but an actual disposable income. The house was equivalent to a palatial mansion and he was spoiled ridiculously at the age of seven.
Jack and Millie adopted Peter shortly after his eighth birthday and he had settled In quite nicely. Although he had never gotten used to ‘being rich’, Peter did enjoy the consistency of the household. He was often a rule breaker and a rebel in the more innocent sense. While other kids might be looking up pornography on their laptops, he was shoveling double-dipped chocolate ruffle cookies into his mouth and staying up late watching TV, or sneaking out to play midnight games with his friends, explore the city.
