PERSONALITY

• very funny - nix is good at making up jokes. its just part of his personality to be naturally funny. it just slips right out of his mouth. despite his tough exterior, making people laugh actually makes him feel good.
  
• enthusiastic and confident - when something good happens to nix, its seems as if he had never experienced something so great. his enthusiasm is contagious and makes for fantastic stage presences. as for confidence, he has no problem talking to completely strangers, singing in the hallway for a girl he is crunching on or speak his mind.
  
• Dynamic and quick-witted - from leadership to forcing others to look at themselves in a new way. he can accomplish this by knowingly carrying out a deliberate act in the name of some cause that moves you. he's quick at coming up with idea's and dynamic in the sense that you will feel like your in the fast lane with ares, he is always one step ahead of the crowd.

• rebellious - he doesn't like to listen, its just that simple. he says that its stickin' to the man. ares only does what he wants to do and when he wants to do it. it really pisses him off when people try to control him and make him someone that he isn't.
  
  
• difficult and quick tempered - nix is set off by the littlest of things. he goes straight into arguing mode which often leads to him punching a whole in the wall when it comes to a girl or if its a guy he will go straight for a fist fight. he isn't into talking it out. it could be someone running into him by mistake, someone stepping on his foot...he doesn't care..he will tell you off. he also makes it very difficult for people to see the positive in him because he believes no one could ever understand him.

STORY

Ares and his other brothers all came to grimm school through the last will of his great aunts will, from his mothers Sarah's side of the family. She had quite the stash of money and Sarah has inherited it. In her will she stated that the person that needed the money the most and would spend it with noble intentions suitable to her memory would be Sarah, because of the seven kids that she adopted and that they should go to one of the best schools, Grimm high school. Sarah was relieved because even though her and Ron made good money, they didn't have enough to send all seven through school and college...but now they do. Ares is a average student thats has strong points in certain subjects, but his knack for getting in trouble always out shines his academic potential.

James was born on April 12th to Jupiter and Juno, both at the time very unfit parents. Jupiter was a boxer that had been dealing with steroids and other drugs to pump him up in fights, while Juno on the other hand was no much better fit then Jupiter. All she cared about was having sex and actually did it for a profession. So you can imagine how she wanted James to go away as soon as she had him. The only miracle that she did not do an abortion is because she actually thought that sticking with Jupiter and having his kid would set her up for life, seeing as he was one of the best fighters in Australia at the time. The dream quickly ended after Ares turned 4. Jupiter was all over the papers for a drug test that single handedly ruined his career.

Juno wanted nothing to do with him or the baby, so she fled. Jupiter consumed by anger, sought out an adoption agency and dropped off Ares as fast as he can. The only way he could justify his decision was by saying that Ares must have been a product of one of Juno's many clients. Ares stay one year in the orphanage when a pleasant couple by the names of Sarah and Ronald James. He was the first one to be adopted into the family, but they quickly saw that by the age of 6 Ares was becoming a very solitary child. Thats when the couple (who had always wanted a big family) started to adopt the other 6 kids...some of which who were still babies.

Thus, how the James family came together. When Ares was about 13 the agency sent him his information that he requested about his family. It was all written by his father, everything that happened and why he was given up (which his father wrote "she was a whore and wanted nothing to do with you". His dreams of his real parents were shattered. The only thing he could remember as a child was going out to see his father fight, but the faces of his parents were fuzzy in his mind and now he wanted nothing to do with them. He had inherited his fathers anger and love for boxing, which now he hated himself for. His foster parents saw that he had all this pent up anger and came to the conclusion that they would put him in self defense classes that would help him let out some anger. Along with music classes, which was something that Ares and Sarah shared together.

Ares is like Grumpy because of his anger. Anything can really set him off. Although, just like grump under all that macho bravado there is a decent person. He's has a really close relationship with all of his brothers and looks out for them. Of course they all know about him being a grouch but instead they all make fun of it and tell him to cool off. He is stubborn just like Grumpy as well. He doesn't trust just as easily as his brothers do. He hates when people clean up his messes, he class it his organized mess. He is a leader, just like grumpy was when he lead the people to save snow white. Ares is also extremely protective of his brothers and of guys that treat chicks like crap.
