STORY
Hm, the reason Derek came to Grimm Highschool was mainly to get away from him family. Oh no he didn't get in because of his grades (although they are fair off), no he got in because of his money. Or rather his father's money. His father died of a heart attack 2 years before Derek came to Grimm High. He was a very successful entrepreneur in the oil business back home. Since his company was left only in the hands of Derek as soon as he was old enough he would be in charge. Derek's mother would handle it until then. Derek's mother was a homely housewife on steriods. She would tag along to Derek's soccer games, his school events, even his friend's parties, annoying everyone she could get her hands on. Derek has a younger brother, Alex who is about 6-ish but is a very shy child.

Although Derek's parents had always looked down upon it, Derek always loved to dance. Against his parent's wishes he would go the the local dance studio by himself and use his father's credit card to pay. He learned to love ballet more than anything. Although he was very versittile with his classes he fell in love with it and is striving to do it professionally.

Now at Grimm High, he is the one that most girls like but aren't falling over at his feet to get him to love them. He isn't really looking for anyone right now but his mother is pushing him to get a girlfriend. He does have his eye on a pretty blonde ballet dancer by the name of Katrina but other than that he is trying to ignore his mother pushing him for a girlfriend and his father's business looming over his head and just enjoy his last year at Grimm and keep dancing.
