STORY
M'rlyn excelled in middle school and was offered a scholarship to Grimm from the administration of the school. Since then, she has been on the top 10 of her class for the last four years because she fears losing her scholarship. Her current goal is valedictorian and has a mild rivalry with anyone that she sees as competition. She loves Calfornia and wants to go to Stanford. She is awaiting her acceptance letter.

The Ellis family is made up of M'rlyn's widowed father and her younger brother, Nathan. Nathan attends a different high school but is planning to transfer to Grimm if the scholarship paperwork goes through. Both her father and her brother know that M'rlyn is a lesbian and have accepted her. Her father does worry about M'rlyn while she is away at school. He thinks she works too hard and will get herself sick or hurt. She has a pet owl, Archimedes, but he stays home with the family since she can't have him at Grimm and it is very difficult to care for an owl.

Like Merlin, M'rlyn is very smart and likes to tutor people to learn things they really need to know. She also has a pet owl named Archimedes, like Merlin in the Once and Future King. I made M'rlyn a lot like Merlyn from The Once and Future King. Since the Merlin in that story is growing backward mentally and knows all the past and future, he seems kind of bumbling at times and comes off as an idiot. M'rlyn does come off as strange most times since she is so stressed with work and extra-cirricular activites so she will sometimes say things that don't make sense.
