STORY

Ammy got into Grimm not because her family had the money or because they knew people within Grimm. She got in because she had the potential artistically. Which her grades are pretty mediocore, she is good at art and has an ear for music. Ammy plans to get through Grimm like she's done for her last 8 years -- work hard to atleast make her grades passing, get better at art and piano. After Grimm she plans on pursuing a degree in art.

As an only child, Ammy was raised by a single mom until she was four. She never knew her father, as she was told he worked abroad. It was not until her seventh grade year that she was told he died in a crash shortly before her birth. When she was four, her mother developed a mysterious illness and she was sent to live with her aunt. While not exactly being happy about being separated, Ammy was always one for adventure. She got along withh the kids at school pretty well, which, for Ammy meant that her social status ranked at nearly invisible. So instead of going to slumber parties and buying presents for birthdays, Ammy found other ways to occupy her time, such as finding new hobbies and using her overactive imagination.

Her next door neighbor was a retired lady. Ammy first met her when she as asked to house sit while the lady was on vacation. When she came back, Ammy and the lady somehow became good friends. It was from this lady that she first learned how to sew and play piano. This lady was also Ammy's first friend. However, not all of Ammy's childhood was fun. She had her share of mishaps aswell.

At age seven, Ammy could almost be consider 'normal', despite starting to show signs of bipolar disorder. She had an increasing hate of doctors, and once, while trying to escape an appointment, crept into one of the large vents that were in her house. At the other end, she found a small room where about one third of it was taken up by a table. There are a door to the side but it was locked. Being too short to reach the vent again, Ammy huddled under its opening. A bit of light filtered in from under the door, and in its faint ray, she could see a bell jar on the table. In it was a gruesome scene. Whether this as a pigment of her imagination or if it was real, she didn't know. But after her aunt found her three hours later, Ammy was almost transfixed by the sight of that image. Afterward, she couldn't stop thinkng about it. Creeping back into that room (the door of which had now been unlocked), Ammy had planned to take the bell jar and its contents and hide it somewhere. But when her flashlight fell onto the place where the bell jar had been, the spot was empty. Some time afterwards, Azazel starting appearing in her head.

Ammy shares many characteristics with the Mad Hatter. The most obvious would be the fact that she, like the Hatter, is crazy to some degree. Also like the Hatter, Ammy fears death. While the Hatter makes up for his fear of leaving life by having tea parties, Ammy tries her best to leave an imprint in society so she would be remember, and in a sense, live on, after her own depature from the living world -- all while drinking tea.
