Merribel Gia Fiore
CHARACTER Doesn't acknowledge her first name. Just Gia. Feemaleee 17-Junior Bisexual Merriweather //Sleeping Beauty
PERSONALITY
- Loud and outgoing - Gia is that person that you turn around and think, why the hell is she being so loud? and she is the person to look at you and wonder why you aren't? She is a party person through and through, no one will get in her way when it comes to having a good time. She hates seeing wallflowers and always pulls them up on the dance floor to cut a rug. It can be dancing down the street or yelling out of a car to someone, as long as she is doing what she wants. Social fairy.
- Extremely helpful - Gia doesn't like to see people struggling with things. It usually reminds her of her brother, which makes her sensitive towards people that find difficulty in things and she can help them then she does. If she likes a teacher, she will stay behind and clean the board for them or do it in the beginning of a class.
- Protective and entertaining - There isn't a party without this girl, she is the person you call when things are going down hill. She always has idea's to spice things up and has a talent for comedy. Even if it's just telling a story, you will be captivated and tearing up by her acting things out for you. Gia just loves getting a laugh out of people and also laughing at herself in the process. She is very protective of her friends and will not stand for people trying 'mama jokes' out on her, cause she will punch them in the mouth. Its not a joke when it has to due with her family or friends.
- Obnoxious - Being loud can get on anyone's nerves and most of the time she does. Instead of finding this embarrassing, Gia thrives off it bothering people. She flutters around those she wants to annoy and will talk crap about them right in front of their faces. There is no acting serious for Gia, she thinks that its dull and something she can save for when she is dead in a casket.
- Vulgar - Gia has FILTHY mouth. All she does is curse all over the place. Does she care? Hell to the mofo no! In her defense she says that god gave her a mouth to speak up and if anyone has a problem with it, then they can come see her! Plus, they are just words not weapons of mass destruction.
- Attitude problem - This is the big one. Gia can hardly go anywhere without starting a fight with someone. Why? Because she feels that if anyone looks at her wrong, then they must have a problem. Staring is rude and if you are being rude, then she is going to put you in your freggin' place. For example, if her friend is bothered by something that someone is doing or had said to the friend and the friend isn't doing anything about it, all bets are on Gia strolling right up to them and calling them out. This cookie doesn't take any crap from NO ONE but her parents.

STORY Gia's mother is an actress on Broadway, while her father is a well known real estate agent, with his own company. Which means that they both make a very good amount of money. Little did they know that their little Gia was going to be such a handful. Living in Manhattan, New York, Flora found that her parents weren't around so she could pretty much do whatever the hell she wants. Although she had much promise of talent and drive, she was being so caught up with her day to day life that she didn't look to the future. Her parents had sent her to so many boarding schools that it could make ones head spin. Yet, all she ever did was run back home to the city, where fake ID's, night clubs and unique fashion thrived. Her parents in their desperation, gave her an ultimatum. If she wasn't going to stay put in the next school they send her to, then it was off to an all girls academy in Ohio for troubled youth.
Now if you want to scare a girl like Gia, you send her off to one, somewhere where its all girls and no guys at all. Which means, she would want to pull her hair out and two, being in a hick butt town in the middle of no where! No skyscrapers, no cheap hot dog stands, no sephora around the corner and most of all NO FASHION SENSE (or at least thats what Gia thought). There was nothing she hated more then the country. She believed people in the country were something along the lines of Amish people. They were like children of the corn to her. So, she was sent off to Grimm high. She's an alright student, excels in the more creative and hands on subjects. Art, english, health, gym, music and economics (thanks to her dad). All she wants to do is graduate, so her parents could stop bugging her.
Her family life is complicated. Gia grew up with two big brothers, they were closer then close. The second oldest was Adam, he was the one that Gia looked up to the most. He was creative, sensitive, artistic, funny, out going (remind you of someone?) and most of all was Gia's best friend. Adam and Anthony (eldest brother) both were born at a time that their parents were so busy that they barely had time with them. Anthony basically took care of Adam and although Adam appreciated it, there was just something in them that wasn't right as was with Anthony. Both diagnosed with personality disorders, Adam was borderline. It was when Gia was around the age of nine that Adam had committed suicide. It was so painful for her that all there was to do was point the blame.
She pointed the blame at her parents and from then on kept her relationship strictly informational, telling them how was her day and leaving the house. Gia never dealt with curfews, restrictions and her parents are just guardian names on her birth certificate, which only (in gia's eyes) gives them the right to suggest what she should do with her life, not tell her. Her other brother left the city and married someone that shows him enough attention to wipe out anyone's past skeletons. He writes, calls sometimes, and sends a few pictures every now and then. Pets, she has a Labrador named Phucker and a black labrador named dolo (what she used to call her brother adam), both males since female dogs get their periods (ew, messy).
I made Gia to have that same sort of attitude and spunk that Merriweather had. As for the plot, I was thinking about her having two other best friends that could in some way help out whomever was going to make the sleeping beauty character. Something along the lines of sprucing her up, maybe she is lacking in style or just needs a little push to get out there. Merriweather had a problem with listening to rules and precautions, but she was still protective of Aurora. Gia isn't afraid of anyone just like Merriweather spoke out to Maleficent when no one else would. She's the one that goes straight into wanting to tell people off or fighting. She's mischievous, energetic and feisty, just like Gia. I also thought that maybe if Flora is made, they could have something like sister rivalry. Since Merriweather hates being told what to do and Flora is always trying to tell others what to do.
