The year is 2004. The teens from Orange County and the teens from Capeside are starting a new school year but this year Capeside High and Harbor High have a kind of student exchange program, where a student from either school can apply to study at the other school and live in the other town for a negotiable amount of time.
Whose life will change for a short amount of time or even forever. Can the people from Capeside get used to the glitz and glamour of Newport. Can the people from Newport get used to the homey small town of Capeside. Will anyone fall for someone from the other side of the tracks. Only time will tell.
